My Life Is Food

Is It An Oasis?

1. Bife Acebolado (Fried pan steak with sauteed onions, rice, beans and fries)

Juicy, succulent, and huge. Pretty damn good as far as steaks go. The rice and beans are some of the best I’ve had in the area.

2. Moqueca (Haddock stew with coconut milk, olive oil and house seasoning served with rice, beans and pirao)

Still boiling at the table. Seemingly endless amounts of fish. Watch out for the bones! A bit too creamy for my tastes, but so good for a cold, rainy evening in Mass.

Verdict: 4 out of 5 stars

The Meatball Shop

1. The Hero (Il Forno baguette with 3 spicy pork meatballs & mozzarella slathered in mushroom cream sauce, side of arugula salad)

Hot and Filling.

2. Saffron Risotto

Creamy and chewy.

3. Everything But The Kitchen Sink Salad (3 lamb meatballs with spicy meat sauce, beets, chickpeas, and arugula salad) Great balance of meat and fresh veggies. Perfect portions.
